The Utah Department of Workforce Services reported that Utah’s 2019 civilian labor force was 1.61 million. During November 2019, the Utah unemployment rate was an impressive 2.4% — substantially lower than the national unemployment rate at the time of 3.5%. For the period ending October 2019, the Davis County labor force was 177,871 with the unemployment rate at an almost unheard-of 2%!
