The Utah Department of Workforce Services recently announced its Virtual Better Your Business Employer Seminar, set for Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 8:30 am – 10:00 am. The theme is Finding Untapped Employees – Part 1. Attendees will learn about the benefits, resources and tax incentives for hiring veterans and formerly incarcerated individuals.
Presenters include Steve Gehrke, Director of Operational Excellence for the Utah Department of Corrections; Eric Barker, Deputy Region Chief with Adult Probation and Parole for the Utah Department of Corrections; and Lisa Duckworth, Veterans Employment Representative for the Department of Workforce Services.
