Layton Small Business Leaders Master Social Media Video Strategy

Layton City’s Community and Economic Development department hosted its latest quarterly Small Business Seminar on November 6, 2025, drawing 32 local owners and leaders to the session titled “Boost Your Brand: Skyrocketing Sales with Social Media Videos!”

Stephanie Barlow, VP of Operations and Account Services at Salt Lake City-based ad agency Molio, shared actionable insights showing how short, compelling videos consistently outperform traditional marketing by driving higher engagement, increasing website traffic, and lifting conversion rates.

Participants left equipped with cutting-edge tactics, practical production tips, and expert guidance for creating videos that truly connect with their target customers. Multiple attendees noted the strategies would immediately strengthen their marketing and help them outpace competitors.

First Community Bank SVP of Marketing/CRA Officer Brady Stratton sponsored a complimentary lunch for all participants. Following her presentation, Barlow stayed to offer one-on-one advice tailored to each business’s unique needs.

Layton City hosts these free quarterly seminars—with lunch included—to deliver maximum value in minimal time. Past attendees have reported measurable improvements in marketing, finance, and staffing. The city’s ongoing support for small businesses recently earned it the #2 ranking for small-business friendliness in Utah from B2B Reviews.
