For this week’s blog, the Economic Development team at Layton City simply wishes to offer its heartfelt gratitude for the many employers, employees, residents and visitors that help continue to make Layton a wonderful community in which to live, work, learn and play. Layton continues to be the economic engine in Davis County and the second largest economic center of northern Utah. Layton continues to grow year over year in both new businesses, new employees and annual taxable sales. We are grateful for those who trust and choose to invest in our City, and those from our community who continue to provide support. We are grateful for those who serve, the recent growth at Hill AFB in the pursuit of national security, those who work and live in and on behalf of Hill AFB, and the historical positive economic and societal impact it has always had and will continue to have in Layton. We are grateful for the many industries, the professional excellence, and dedicated employers and their employees who continue to raise the bar for those who work and live here.
