To take advantage of Custom Fit funding, your business must meet the following criteria: Operate as a for-profit company and employ W2 workers.
Custom Fit gives your company flexible access to a broad range of training opportunities, including:
- Technical College Programs: Enroll employees in certification programs at Davis Technical College, Ogden-Weber Technical College, or any other Utah technical college. Eligible fields include:
- Manufacturing and Transportation
- Information Technology
- Service Professions
- Plumbing and Electrical Trades
- External Training: If a technical college doesn’t offer what you need, you can use Custom Fit funds for private external trainers and specialized courses, such as:
- Forklift Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Emissions Test Prep
- Leadership and Communication Training
