The Utah APEX Accelerator recently announced its upcoming Northrop Grumman Strategic Teaming Alliance Roundtable (STAR), set for May 11th at 8:00 am. This is an opportunity for Utah businesses to learn about opportunities with Northrop Grumman, which may include teaming opportunities, subcontracting and networking. Representatives from Hill Air Force Base will also be presenting about contracting opportunities. The roundtable is designed to assist small businesses navigate and benefit from doing business with the federal government and large federal contractors, often referred to as primes.
The Utah APEX Accelerator, a division of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, is tasked with helping businesses successfully compete in the government marketplace. The upcoming contracting event will help attendees connect with successful contractors from a variety of large and small businesses. Helpful tips will also be provided to assist companies in achieving their government contracting goals.
Representatives from Northrop Grumman Corporation, Small Business and Contracting, first-tier primes and others will also showcase large federal contractors and small businesses currently doing business with either Northrop or subcontractors. They plan to discuss socioeconomic categories and certifications.
Each STAR panel is unique and offers new presenters and perspectives. Those who attend will have the opportunity to gain insight and information about the importance of registering with large contractors, SAM.gov, and others to help them get noticed, and propel contracting opportunities.
