Exciting, local employment opportunities are the focus of the Utah Department of Workforce Service’s state-wide virtual job fair this Thursday, March 07 from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Applicants can meet with employers that are hiring now. Employers are from around the state of Utah and from a wide variety of industries. Join the job fair and virtual chat with employers from the comfort of your own home. You do not need a webcam to participate.
Layton Utah’s prominent aerospace manufacturer KIHOMAC is also hiring, with several career events starting this month through November, 2024. See more details below.
Attending a virtual job fair online can offer several advantages over traditional in-person events, making it a valuable tool for your job search.
Here are some key benefits.
- Wider reach: Virtual fairs connect you with companies from around the globe, removing geographical limitations and increasing your exposure to potential employers.
- Reduced time commitment: No need to spend time commuting or waiting in lines. You can efficiently connect with multiple companies within a shorter timeframe.
- Targeted interactions: Research companies beforehand and prioritize the ones most relevant to your skills and interests, maximizing your time spent with relevant recruiters.
- Comfortable environment: Participate from the comfort of your own home, reducing potential stress and anxiety often associated with traditional job fairs.
- Practice for interviews: Build your confidence and communication skills by engaging with multiple companies in a less intimidating online setting.
