Entrepreneurs are invited to attend the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Weber state Wildcat Microfund’s upcoming event to network with and observe local startups pitch their businesses. The Wildcat Microfund Pitch Event is an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn more about Weber State’s grant for startups, and an ideal setting for participants to connect with mentors and investors and learn about new resources available for entrepreneurs.

The Wildcat MicroFund offers $3,000 cash award grants to currently enrolled Weber State students and entrepreneurs in Northern, Northeastern, and Southeastern Utah.
If you’re trying to launch an idea and need funding to support early-stage growth, then the Wildcat Microfund is an excellent option to assist your business. Next week’s event will also help potential investors learn more about your business. Awarded funds are not a loan and Weber State takes no ownership or equity. Entrepreneurs are welcome to apply up to three times.
