Layton City’s Community and Economic Development is pleased to announce its next FREE Small Business Seminar: “What’s Working Today with Social Media Marketing” slated for February, 22, 2023 from noon to 1:00 pm. The class will help train local business owners and leaders how to attract customers and grow their business with social media strategies.
Jared Smart, owner and operator of Elite Media, a local marketing agency, has agreed to instruct attendees on how to get found, increase customers, and grow revenue. Smart has spent the past 12 years helping companies navigate the ever-changing world of social media by focusing on their number one asset: their customers. Smart has worked with large brands and small companies, and has a proven track record for helping clients, from those with a small online presence to others with millions of followers. In addition to helping customers, Smart has taught and developed courses in social media and digital marketing for Ensign College.
The event will take place in the lower level conference room at the Layton City Center building, 437 N Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah. Free lunch will be provided by First Community Bank.
The popular and educational small business seminars were started by Layton City seven years ago and offer executives the opportunity to learn from their local peers and to network with other businesses in the community. Past classes have provided training on a wide range of popular topics including: business finance, networking, marketing, employee recruitment, retention, and customer service.
