The Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is inviting all job seekers to attend its statewide virtual job fair on Thursday, September 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More than 40 Utah employers, hiring for thousands of open positions across the state, are participating in the free online event.
Employers are seeking workers to fill full-time and part-time positions. This event provides an excellent opportunity to discover different industries, get your foot in the door for future full-time work or simply make some extra cash.
Job openings are available in several industries including: retail, health care, transportation, government and aerospace. The virtual hiring event provides job seekers an opportunity to share resumes, live chat with hiring representatives, and even schedule interviews. You can join the job fair from the comfort of your own home. You won’t need a webcam to participate. A complete list of employers participating in the event may be found on the DWS website. The website also features over 75,000 job openings statewide.

Click: ‘Sign-in’ on the upper right-hand corner and select ‘my Job Search.’ Sign in using your Utah ID Username and Password. If you do not have a UTAH ID, you will need to create an account.
Once you are logged in, click on ‘Menu,’ ‘Activities’ and then ‘Virtual Events.’
The link to pre-register for the job fair is located on the date of the job fair displayed on your calendar. Select the link. Pre-register for the event by selecting the ‘Register’ button. On the day of the job fair, come back to the same spot to find the link to join the live event.
