The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and Utah’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) recently announced the upcoming Utah Aerospace and Defense Industry Event, to be held in Layton, Utah. Organizers are actively inviting interested businesses to sign up to learn more about the future of Utah’s defense sector, its challenges, opportunities, and obstacles through the next decade.
Utah’s PTAC program helps Utah businesses to find, bid and win procurement opportunities with federal, state, and local government entities. Through one-on-one and group counseling, PTAC educates and assists Utah businesses to more effectively compete in the government marketplace. The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, known as Go Utah, supports Utah entrepreneurs and businesses. They work with industries, Utah regions, communities, and nonprofits to implement strategic economic development plans and reinforce Utah’s diverse, prosperous economy.
The world of government contracting can be daunting. This is where PTAC can help. To date, PTAC has successfully assisted hundreds of Utah small businesses that have been awarded close to one-half of a trillion dollars in government contracts. If your small business is looking for a way to expand its customer base, government contracting may be a significant option. There is no cost to Utah businesses.
