May Small Business Seminar Offers Accounting Tips

Local small business owners and leaders are invited to spend their lunch break on May 26 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, learning how to make their business more successful with accounting strategies. The class, taught by Ron Valentine, president of Valentine CPA, will educate attendees on critical tax strategies, QuickBooks, bookkeeping, payroll, and small business management tips.

Valentine worked nine years as a Federal auditor with the Defense Contract Audit Agency prior to opening Valentine CPA which has been in operation for over 30 years. He has consulted with scores of small businesses and currently helps small businesses remain compliant with laws and regulations while enjoying maximum tax relief.

The free event will be held at Valentine CPA, 944 E Gordon Avenue, Layton, UT 84040 and is presented by Layton City in association with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). A free lunch will also be provided by Valentine CPA.
