Business Leaders Learn Winning Social Media Marketing Strategies

Last week, Layton City’s Community and Economic Development wrapped up another successful Small Business Seminar with attendees learning valuable social media marketing tips and training. Titled “What’s Working Today with Social Media Marketing,” the class, held on February, 22, 2023 instructed local business managers, high-level executives, and owners how to effectively attract targeted clients and grow their business by harnessing proven social media marketing strategies.

Jared Smart, owner and operator of Elite Media, a local marketing agency, trained just under 30 attendees on how to increase their social media exposure, find targeted customers, and effectively boost revenue. Smart specializes in helping companies navigate the ever-changing world of social media by focusing on customers and prospective customers. Smart, who boasts 12 years of experience working with small to large brands that cater to millions of followers, shared in-depth details on successful social media marketing tactics that are implemented with little to no cost.

The event was held at the lower level conference room at the Layton City Center building, 437 N Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah. A delicious lunch featuring Marco’s Pizza was provided at no cost by First Community Bank, a frequent and loyal sponsor of Layton’s Small Business Seminars.

These popular and educational classes were started by Layton City about seven years ago. Just one invested lunch break provides business professionals the opportunity to learn from local peers and meet other businesses in the area. The events also provide an ideal networking environment with other company leaders.  Past Layton City seminar topics have focused on business financing, networking, marketing strategies, customer service, and employee recruitment/retention.
