The Utah Department of Workforce Services is inviting all job seekers to attend its statewide virtual job fair on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More than 60 Utah employers, hiring for thousands of open positions across the state, are participating in the free online event.
Employers are seeking seasonal workers, and hoping to fill full-time and part-time positions. Seasonal work is an excellent opportunity to discover different industries, get your foot in the door for future full-time work or simply make some extra cash.
Job openings are available in several industries including: retail, health care, transportation, government and aerospace.
The virtual hiring event provides job seekers an opportunity to share resumes, live chat with hiring representatives, and even schedule interviews. A complete list of employers participating in the event may be found at jobs.utah.gov. The site also features over 75,000 job openings statewide.
